Dersin Amacı: 
To provide students with knowledge of National/International ISO standards; ISO 9000 series for glabol trades, difference between accreditation and certifications, Infrastucture of National/International accreditation systems (TURKAK, ILAC, EA), benefits of accreditation on test/calibration laboratories and international trades. Understanding of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards for accreditation of test/calibration laboratories.

History of measurements, traceability and measurements uncertainty, ISO 9000 series (ISO 9000 and 9001), certification versus acreditation, TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards for test and calibration laboratory, Accreditation system, accreditation stages, assessor training and types of assossors.
