Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to teach the history of poetry of the Republican period with its trends, outstanding poets and their works. “Modern poetry “is the way to be taken.
Course Content: 

This course deals with Turkish poetry written since the beginning of the 20th century. Trends, poets and poems are discussed, analyzed and interpreted and a close look is taken whether they are ‘modern’ or traditional.
