Septet is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed publication published by Yeditepe University Faculty of Arts and Sciences in order to increase interactions between human sciences, arts and sciences. The name Septet is a metaphor suggesting a seven-instrument musical ensemble that refers to interdisciplinary studies with the sound patterns it produces. The name also has rich associations with Yeditepe University, named after the "seven hills" of the ancient city of Istanbul. Septet, which published its first issue in 2008, continues its publications on the digital platform, focusing on the themes produced by the different disciplines represented in our faculty.
