Course Objectives: 
The primary goal of this course is to introduce the basic elements of linguistic meaning explaining how meaningful units of language are formed, and to provide a general introduction to what the building blocks of communication, both linguistic and non-linguistic, are.
Course Content: 

The semantic and pragmatic properties of Turkish are discussed in detail by using lexical, syntactic and textual/discursive level units from Turkish.
