Course Objectives: 
The course aims to equip students with practical subtitling skills and also to give them an overview of subtitling, voiceover and captioning. TRA 411 is designed for translation students who are wishing to learn the basics of subtitling using industry-standard software with time code discipline.
Course Content: 

General information about audio technology and audio. The functioning of the voiceover projects, studies related to subtitling, voiceover, captioning, dubbing. Requirements and planning of audiovisual translations. Theory and Practice of Subtitling, introduction to Theories of translation, advanced translation of audio visual contents.

Course Methodology:
