CPLT 385 Selected Topics in Comparative Literature

Course Aim: Discussing the arise and progress of Comparative Literature with an historical perspective.

Course Content: In the course the main aim is to analyse the concepts that designate the area of comparative literature. In this extent examples from national, world and post-colonial literary examples will be analysed.

 

CPLT 391 Selected Topics in Mythology

Instructor: Prof. Dr. M. Oğuz Cebeci / moguzcebeci@hotmail.com

Course Aim: Students will be introduced to classic mythology and will be given a general idea about their use as a literary source.

Course Content: In this course the contents are the roots of classic mythology, and birth of myths, gods and goddesses,  as well as stories of love and adventure of the first heroes.
