Course Objectives:
To provide a comprehensive understanding of family relations and their translation into social institutions. Encouraging thinking critically about the structure of family in a society and the patterns of relationships within a family.
Course Content:
The interpretation of concepts like marriage, divorce, child rearing, domestic violence, kinship, consanguinity and their associations with values and norms and regulations in a society.
