Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to examine our history of culture which expands the limits of our political history from the neolithic period to B.C. 3rd thousand and to the end of the age of Hun by explaining the matters of Turkish name, race and homeland after giving information about the relationship between culture and civilisation and the factors having an effect on the birth of the civilisation with theory and to deal with archaeological and antropological data of Central Asia and Southern Siberia belonging to this period within the dicipline of History.
Course Content: 

The differences between the concepts of culture and civilisation. The theories about the birth of the civilisation. Turkish name, Turkish race or the homeland of Turks. According to the periods in which the archaeologists got archaeologic material from Central Asia and culture centers; The period of Turkish culture history from neolithic age to the age of Hun will be handled by examining the cultures of Afanesyevo, Andronovo, Kelteminar, Karasuk, Tagar and Taştık which emerged as a result of the classification and evaluation of Neolithic age, B.C. 2th thousand age, B.C. 1st thousand age and the age of Hun findings.
