Program Outcomes

PO1 Acquire the ability to actively use the grammatical, morphological, syntactic, semantic and usage structures of Russian.

PO2 To be able to explain and use the semantic and culture-dependent structures of the Russian language.

PO3 Knows the development of Russian literature from the beginning to the present day, evaluates and criticizes literary texts in this process philologically.

PO4 Examines the interaction of Russian literature with Eastern and Western literatures.

PO5 Develop the ability to understand the universal and social effects of literary movements.

PO6 To be able to explain and analyze the structures, social and cultural functions of different types of texts in the Russian language and to be able to translate them into their native language.

PO7 Gains knowledge of the close disciplines that form the foundations of language, literature, culturology and translation theories; gains the ability of interdisciplinary reading and analysis.

PO8 Acquire the basic knowledge and skills to conduct academic research in the field; utilize information technologies that will enable them to follow current research and developments at the international level.

PO9 Acquire the skills to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the field in the fields of education, training and public service.

Our Teaching Objectives

LO1 To equip students with the language mastery, theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for them to work in the academic field and to develop their ability to use them.

LO2 Ability to apply knowledge of Russian language, literature and culture to cultural, social, ethical, aesthetic, political, etc. issues.
