Course Objectives:
The aim is to provide students with basic knowledge that meets the requirements of the A1.2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in Russian language proficiency. This includes conveying the third and fourth steps of the A1 level. Students will be able to introduce themselves and others, possess oral and written
language skills for basic level communication in daily life, and understand and use simple sentences along with known,
formulaic, and basic expressions used to express concrete needs in everyday Russian.
Course Content:
The theoretical grammar knowledge related to the subject of the lesson; practice and reinforcement exercises on the newly introduced grammar; activities focused on reading the text, translating it, and working on answering questions; exercises aimed at developing speaking skills, including dialogue creation and discussions; assignments designed to enhance the student's language proficiency.
Course Methodology:
1. Teacher lecture. 2. Group/Pair/Individual work. 3. Visual materials: computer-assisted activities, listening to CDs. 4. Activities leading to free conversation and writing. 5. PowerPoint presentations.
