Topic: Numerical Semigroups, Apery table and Hilbert functions

Abstract:   In this talk, I will first introduce the concept of Apery table of a numerical semigroup introduced by Cortedellas and Zarzuela (Tangent cones of numerical semigroup rings. Contemp. Math. 502, 45–58 (2009)). After presenting some open problems about Hilbert functions of local rings, I will give some partial results in the case of local rings associated to numerical semigroups.
