The project entitled “Homotopy Theory and Higher Geometric Structures for Frölicher Spaces,” has been granted support under the TÜBİTAK-ARDEB 3501 Career Development Program, where from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akif Erdal is the project leader, and Assist. Prof. Melike Işim Efe and Assist. Prof. Barış Efe are researchers. This project aims to study homotopy theories and higher geometric structures on one of the models of generalized smooth spaces known as Frölicher spaces. The primary goal is to find convenient homotopy theories (e.g. Quillen model structures) on the category of Frölicher spaces, which later will be used to contribute to their differential geometry.
We congratulate the entire project team and wish them a successful project management process.
