TUBITAK 2209-A Research Projects Preparation Training for Undergraduate Students in Science

Our event is "TÜBİTAK 2209-" by providing strategies to develop effective research skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encouraging collaboration and interdisciplinary interactions among undergraduate students studying in the basic fields of Science at Yeditepe University Faculty of Science and Letters, and providing mentoring to students throughout the research process. A aims to teach project writing techniques within the scope of "University Students Research Projects Support Program".
Our activity will emphasize our students' critical thinking skills, providing students with the ability to objectively evaluate information, identify research gaps, and create evidence-based hypotheses. By encouraging collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches, our students can leverage different perspectives and sources of literature or software to address complex research questions and generate innovative solutions. Additionally, providing mentoring throughout the research process will allow students to receive feedback, improve their research methodologies, and improve the quality of their work. The education and mentoring support we provide to our students will help them overcome difficulties and achieve excellence in research.
- Being a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student studying Science at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences
- Weighted GPA (CGPA) must be at least 2.5 out of 4 and above
- No ethical or disciplinary punishment
- Participant must participate full-time if accepted into the project.
