A Story of Social Entrepreneurship

In the event, which was co-organized by the Anthropology Club and our department; Ece Çiftçi, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of SosyalBen Foundation, shared the field studies that they conducted in order to strengthen the awareness of social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and voluntarism in diverse parts of Turkey and the different world countries, and thus, expressed ‘the power of goodness’ and its prominence to design a more liveable world.

European Union Project Design Training

“Project Writing Training According to EU Methodology” was organized for the students of Anthropology department to let them obtain the required information for the creation, development, and management of projects to be presented to national and international fund institutions.

Anthropology Department Stakeholder Meeting

We held the external stakeholder meeting on March 3, 2020, with the representatives of the institutions employing anthropology alumni to assess how effectively the anthropology department realizes its teaching objectives and the perspectives of the stakeholders on the functionality of the skills to be equipped by the students through the training.

Dance within Ecosystem

On February 19, 2020, Professor Belma Oğul, a faculty member at Istanbul Technical University, Musicology Department, met with our students in the event, ‘Dance within Ecosystem’ and mentioned the contemporary debates of the anthropology of dance.
