Kadıköy SECAP 3.0 Mitigation Workshop

Assoc. Prof. Barış Gençer Baykan, a faculty member in the Department of Public Administration, participated in the Kadıköy SECAP 3.0 Mitigation Workshop organized by Kadıköy Municipality on 23 September 2026. Held in Kadikoy Alan, the workshop focused on the development of Kadıköy’s 2030 climate action targets and efforts towards achieving climate neutrality by 2050. During the workshop, expert working groups focusing on sustainable built environment, renewable energy, transportation, waste, and wastewater developed recommendations for priority greenhouse gas emission reduction actions in these areas.
