Yeditepe University’s Department of Russian Language and Literature will host the “East–West International Russian Language Week” for the second time between October 21–23, 2025. The event is organized under the auspices of Rossotrudnichestvo, in collaboration with the Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) and with the support of the Russian House in Ankara.
Focusing on the Russian language and culture from an international perspective, the event will bring together scholars, lecturers, and researchers from more than thirty countries, including Turkey, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Norway, and Greece. Interactive classes will also be held for students.
Over the course of three days, the program will address topics such as the teaching of Russian, contemporary linguistic approaches, intercultural communication, translation studies, and language teaching in the digital age. The agenda will include panel sessions, academic presentations, workshops, and round-table discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the pedagogical aspects of the Russian language while deepening cross-cultural dialogue and exchange.
