THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC / ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES IN THE REPUBLIC

The Symposium on the Development of Scientific / Academic Disciplines in the Republic of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, where the opening speech was made by the Honorary and Founding President of our University, Mr. Bedrettin DALAN, was held on 7 - 8 December 2023. At the beginning of the Symposium, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Dr. Berrin YANIKKAYA, made their welcoming speech.

During the Symposium, simultaneous translation support was provided by students and academicians of the Department of Translation Studies.

The Symposium invited speakers from within our University and from outside in the disciplines of Anthropology, Translation and Interpreting Studies, Philosophy, Physics, English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Psychology, Russian Language and Literature, Sociology, History, Turkish Language and Literature within our Faculty shared information about the development of their disciplines in the Republic.

We want to thank our invited speakers and the students, academics, and employees who attended the Symposium that was organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of our Republic for their interest.
