Septet: A Journal of Arts and Sciences

Septet is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal published by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yeditepe University, which aims to increase understanding and interaction among arts, humanities, and sciences.  The name Septet refers to a musical ensemble made up of seven instruments, whose interwoven sounds form an apt metaphor for interdisciplinary scholarship.  It also has rich associations for Yeditepe University, named after the “seven hills” of historical Istanbul.  First published in 2008, Septet is now an online journal with thematic issues focusing on the different disciplines represented in our faculty.
