The training in our department includes all branches of Mathematics. Courses such as analysis, abstract mathematics, linear algebra, computation for engineering, finite and discrete mathematics, differential equations, number theory, advanced Mathematics, programming are offered in undergraduate curriculum. It is possible to transfer from the Department of Mathematics to the Department of Mathematics Teacher Education by meeting the external and internal transfer conditions determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The language of instruction at Yeditepe University is English. Students who do not pass the English proficiency exam conducted by the Preparatory School at Yeditepe University are required to study the preparatory class until they attain the required English proficiency.

Professions that require numerical analysis or data analysis, algorithm development, modelling or optimisation can be considered Mathematics-related.

There is no compulsory internship in the Department of Mathematics at Yeditepe University.
