Yeditepe University Department of History is a department that has adopted contemporary and modern education as its principle. The history department offers an impartial education based on questioning, research, and evidence, with academicians who are number one in their fields and have proven themselves both in our country and the world. Yeditepe University Department of History, along with the historiography, has made it a duty to teach his students to interpret the events that have happened, have been happening, and will happen in World History from a contemporary perspective. Since training in research methods and how to use and find research sources is also provided, the curiosity of students brought about by their interest in a particular historical period is well satisfied. With the double major and minor programs offered by our department and university, the student is also offered the opportunity to study in the discipline of his/her choice. The History Society connected with the department also aims to socialize department students and unite interested parties through various activities.
